Description

Nestled in a serene glen just a stone’s throw away from Port na Long and the enchanting Cuillin mountains, The Tin Church offers a unique holiday retreat. This charming 1950s mission church, spanning 34 sq m, underwent a complete sensitive renovation in 2020 by its architect owners, preserving its original corrugated iron exterior while transforming its interior into a modern but cosy timber-lined one-bedroom property. It comprises an open-plan kitchen and living space with a wood-burning stove, a double bedroom, a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a compact utility room. A sliding glass door opens onto a south-facing deck with outdoor seating, perfect for soaking up the landscape. The Tin Church is an ideal getaway for those wishing to take time out to be creative, read or write.
