Description
This striking house, designed by Marcus Lee and completed in 2023, is set on the Isle of Mull near the small village of Lochdon. Positioned on a southwesterly facing wooded plot of 1.5 acres, The Watershed has immediate access to the sea loch foreshore and sits in a dramatic location, surrounded by woodland and far-reaching views.
The property is defined by a tall, open-plan living space, lined in plywood and flooded with natural light from full-width windows that run the length of the room. These frame panoramic views of the loch, mountains and changing tides, creating a constantly shifting backdrop. With its raw material palette, wood-burning stove and expansive sense of volume, the interior offers a unique and versatile setting for photography.
The house includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with all rooms enjoying woodland or loch views. Outside, the combination of coastal edge and sheltered woodland provides further opportunities for shooting across a variety of natural landscapes.
