Description
A peaceful retreat in the heart of Norton St Philip, a historic village set between Bath and Frome. Designed by Knox Bhavan Architects — a celebrated London practice known for their thoughtful, contemporary homes — the house sits behind a private gate with a generous garden, orchard and direct access onto open fields, with views of the Church of St Philip and St James.
The bright and spacious living area features underfloor heating, a large stone fireplace with wood burner, smart TV and glass doors opening onto the garden. There’s a fully equipped kitchen with a large wooden dining table — ideal for relaxed meals or celebratory feasts — and a downstairs shower room, which also houses the washing machine.
Upstairs, a steel staircase leads to a galleried landing with a sofa bed (available by request, for adults only), and a separate king-size bedroom. The garden is enclosed and opens directly onto the church mead. There’s outdoor seating, a fire pit and private parking for two cars.
